WOOLBAILS-SPANIELS

I have managed to get some of the many pictures I have been sent from our puppy owners onto the photo page eventually. I will add the rest when I get an hour spare. I have also added pictures of Teal onto our prison dog page, Enya has also had a picture update on our The Girls page. I am so pleased with the way these pups are turning out, they are all turning into stunning looking Working Cockers. (I have also updates the pictures on our sister site Dragonheart too). ;)

My wee boy has started Flyball !!  He  seems to love it and taken to the sport very quickly. I will update as he progresses!!

Just to thank everyone for sending in pics of their pups, who are now settling in well with everyone, I do apologise for not getting the pics on sooner but I will endevour to upload them all, on our photo album over the next few days, We have also had requests from people that simply follow the site too,  to see them and how they are getting on, which has surprised me as I didnt realise we have a good number of people who simply like to see how we are all progressing with our dogs.  Cheers John.

Saturday 3rd July 2010.

We had a good day with Bailey in his Agility, He came 2nd in the medium class. We hope to build and get more constistancy in his Competing.  However we are overjoyed Bailey  and John appear to be making real headway in Agility. Lets hope its the start of much bigger things.

We have made the decision on which pup we are keeping from Lilly and Raven's Litter, We are keeping the little Lemon girl and calling her Enya, She has been added to our girls page, pictures wil follow when she is a little older. We have hopes she will be trained along side her Father Raven and like him be entered into gundog tests. Failing that she will be trained along side her grandfather and may compete in Agility. Time will tell.

We have decided to create a completely new Website for our Show bred Cocker's, We are Kc registered as Woolbails but feel this name should only be attatched to our working cockers. This decision will hopefully clear confusion and we will also be creating a new Kennel Name for our show girls too, As I have a love of everything Dragon it will carry a Dragon theme in its new name is Dragonheart-spaniels. You will find the link on my homepage and Links page to find all about my Show Cocker gang.

We are pleased to announce that we have had 5 of our gang Health screened for Gonioscopy and Prcd/pra annual eye tests today and they all passed as clear/normal. We are overjoyed as this now means we are nearly complete on our Health Screening Programs for the Kennel, And inparticular Bailey and Raven are 100% health screened with excellent results on all fronts. The dogs that passed their Gonioscopy and Annual BVA eye test today are Raven, Bailey and Lilly.  This means all of our KC breeding dogs will be health screened for glaucoma, Prcd/pra, DNA PRA and DNA Fn, and my 2 stud dogs will also have been hipscored.
